Book Discussion The Sunflower by Simon Wiesenthal

Join us Sunday at 9am between services as we discuss the book, The Sunflower. For Sunday Sept 29, please read the first chapter. The book details an experience between a Jewish prisoner held in a concentration camp during WWII and a dying SS soldier who asks for forgiveness. Wiesenthal questions the outcome of the encounter and what the “correct” resolution to the encounter should have been. He asks many theologians and laity of varied denominations to provide insights. Themes of the book are forgiveness, reconciliation, and repentance. Join us for discussion in the Learning Center at 9am.
